ARTEXT is an online bookstore based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We specialize in
rare and out-of-print books on 19th and 20th Century Art and on Film.
You can browse through our current catalogues
online, or search our database for
particular titles, artists or subjects.
Since our online catalogues represent only a portion of our current
holdings at any given moment, we welcome requests for art or film
books not listed in our catalogues. We are also happy to maintain
permanent want lists for book collectors and for customers in search
of just that one book. We specialize in personal attention to each and
every customer. Our search service is free.
ARTEXT is a member of MARIAB (Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Antiquarian Booksellers).

You can contact ARTEXT in any of the following ways:
A Note on Book Condition:
We think that collectors of art and film books care as much about the
condition of the books they are buying as collectors of other kinds of
books, and so we have made our best effort to describe each book's
condition in detail. Most of our stock is in exceptionally nice
antiquarian condition, but we urge you to read the descriptions
carefully before ordering. We want our customers to be pleased with
their purchases. Please feel free to query us for further details on
the condition of any book if the antiquarian book jargon is unfamiliar
to you or if you just can't quite picture what we're describing.
Offers of Books:
We are always interested in acquiring collections of any size and
important single books in our fields of specialty. Your offers are
always welcome and will receive our prompt and careful attention.
